‘Battlefield Hardline’ Beta Opens to Players February 3rd



Starting February 3rd gamers can play the ultimate game of cops and robbers in the Battlefield Hardline beta
Visceral Games the studio behind the hugely successful Battlefield series have been gearing up for the next installment for a while now. Called Battlefield Hardline it will put players in the middle of the ultimate game of cops and robbers. Excitement has been building since the games first trailer was released.

Now Visceral is ready to amp up the excitement level by announcing the dates of the Battlefield Hardline beta. In a press release this week Visceral announced that the Hardline beta will be live from February 3rd to February 8th. The beta will be open to players on PC, PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, and Xbox One. Along with the announcement Visceral released a new trailer to give gamers an idea of what to expect from Hardline.

Looking at its storyline as well as its single player and multiplayer modes. Demonstrating “how new innovations with story, speed and strategy in single player and multiplayer are helping to make Battlefield Hardline a complete first person shooter experience”

Battlefield Hardline plans to add onto the core foundation of the series multiplayer focus of good strategy and team work by adding speed. Hardline is being called the fastest Battlefield ever made. The open beta will highlight the games speed with three different maps and multiplayer modes. Showing off the cops and robbers sandbox gamers will be playing in.

In order to truly show off the games speed the beta will be feature the new Hotwire mode where gamers will compete in high-speed car chases. Playing as the criminals they will players will be stealing a list of marked cars before the cops repo them. According to Visceral success in Hotwire will depend on precision driving and teamwork. Hotwire will be available on two maps in the beta Dust Bowl and Downtown.

Also in the Dust Bowl map is Battlefields signature game mode Conquest, where up to 64 players will compete in massive battles. In addition the Hardline beta will introduce another new mode to Battlefield called Heist. Heist will be playable on a new map called Bank Job; pitting robbers trying to break into a bank vault against a group of cops trying to stop them.

Along side these new game modes the Hardline beta will give gamers access to the entire multiplayer progression system. That includes all new weapons and vehicles including “zipline and muscle cars, or new entry tactics with the grappling hook and non-lethal takedown options like arrests, interrogations and stun guns”

The Battlefield Hardline is sure to be an awesome experience for both long time fans of the series as well as any gamer whose always wanted to play cops and robbers with friends.

Battlefield Hardline will be available March 17 in North America, beginning March 19 in Europe and March 20 in the UK on Origin for PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, Xbox One and Xbox 360.
