File recovery with Dumpster

Once you download the app, start there. Before accepting the Terms of Use (Next button), you must select the file types to be protected (Please Choose qui items you wish to protect). Select among the list (images, audio, documents, and videos), those of interest and confirm with Next to access the application interface.





When you first launch the application, you will reach the two arrows that rotate (at the top right). This maneuver will refresh the page, the files you deleted will appear in a list. These will be organized by type (default), ie be placed mp3 with mp3, videos with video ... You can change the layout of files by touching the parameters (the three dots at the top right ) and choosing Sort. The Pop-Up opens, you will offer 4 possibilities. Sort files by date delete (Deletion date) by name (File name), type (file type) and size (file size). Make your choice and press OK to make some order.















To restore a file, and return to his original location, simply touch. In the window that appears (File Details) press Restore to the selected file. Mention File succesfully restored will confirm the success of the restoration of the file. It will now be accessible from your phone, as before. Note that using the parameters (the three dots at the top right), you can select multiple (Multi Select). Then select the files to restore and press the arrow to start the operation.














The application gives you the ability to delete a file. Make a long press on the one you want to delete and choose Delete. Confirm the deletion again with Delete. Permanently deleted file you will signal the success of the operation. Note that multiple selection (Multi Select), presented in the previous step, works for deleting files. Instead of choosing to restore the arrow, press the trash to clear pre-selected files. The Dumpster application gives you the ability to configure the cleaning period. Go into the settings and choose Options. Scroll down to the Auto-clean party items. Using the horizontal bar, you define a period after which the deleted files (which can be restored from Dumpster) will be permanently deleted. You can choose between 1 week (Keep items for 1 week) or never (Keep items forever). Confirm with OK.
