PORSCHE INTRODUCES THE CAYMAN GT4

Porsche presented the expected and glimpsed radical version of its Cayman that will be well named GT4. This model capable of 7'40 at the Nurburgring wants it for the 911 GT3 at the lower end, it is equipped with a 3,8l Flat6 385 hp.

This one should hurt. Porsche has just introduced its new Cayman GT4, the most radical derived (up to a RS GT4?) Cut its entry. Engine, chassis, brakes and aerodynamics have been optimized for the Cayman a circuit beast homologated for the road.
The coupe uses the 3,8l 911 in a variant with 385 hp at 7400 rev / min mated to a 6-speed manual specific staging. 0 to 100 km / h is shot in 4,4s and its maximum speed is given to 295 km / h. The normalized consumption probably unrealistic in use "normal" for this type of car is 10,3l / 100km.

The chassis is lowered by 30mm and the braking is taken from the 911 GT3 while the aerodynamic kit provides the GT4 own personality. There is a unique front bumper with three air intakes and a massive rear wing but it is also possible to opt for an even more track oriented version including a carbon ceramic brakes, carbon bucket seats (CFRP), a pack Sport Chrono Track Precision including the application or the Club Sport Package (bucket, fire extinguisher and arch), all optional of course. Standard sport seats with high side support combine leather and Alcantara and the steering wheel is specific.

The new Porsche Cayman GT4 will be presented in Geneva in March, its price is set at 88,310 euros.
