WHAT WILL HAPPEN IF HUMAN SUDDENLY DISAPPEARED ?

The human has left an indelible imprint on the Earth, it is a fact. However, despite all the scientific advances we have made, our future as a species is still uncertain. Ecological threats, nuclear, zombies, there are 1001 ways for the human species to disappear altogether from the surface of the globe. But how would the world if we were to suddenly disappear?

1) AFTER A FEW MONTHS

After the electricity no longer available, electrified fences meant to keep the animals no longer walk, and it will not be less than 1.5 billion cows, pigs 1 billion and 20 billion chickens to be delivered to them- same. Without humans to feed them, they will die of hunger or serve as food for some half billion dogs and many cats will now feed themselves (they are however not very willing to wildlife, so they be victimized by wild wolves and cats). Rats and cockroaches will see their populations greatly reduced because they live at the expense of some humans, and fleas and lice have disappeared completely (oddly).

2) AFTER FEW YEARS

Fault of electric pumps that drain the water, the boulevards of the big cities become channels, subways will be flooded and buildings overgrown with weeds, street by trees and other plants. The suburban houses, whose roofs are usually made of wood, will be the cause of the devastation of these suburbs because firefighters will not be there to stop them instantly fires caused by lightning touching one of those wooden roofs. On the side of the campaign, plantations will be destroyed either by storms, lightning or even termites.

3) AFTER SOME YEARS

The many goods (cars, buildings, bridges) of steel will not be maintained with paint or other means of treatment and return to their normal state of iron, and will be subject to rust.
The animals will be at such a high population level when we were not yet there, but their distribution is greatly impaired, particularly because of zoos. Radiation created by man will go indefinitely in space, but what will remain forever on Earth are formed mainly from our waste plastic, which can not be degraded by bacteria or by air (they do not rust) . These plastic pieces finally go into the water to settle then sediments. Of course, in the deserts, buildings degrade much more slowly due to the lack of moisture.

The guys at AsapScience attempt to answer this question in this video:

If paleontologists aliens, it is not clear how they will try to explain our love of plastic, they will explain how we have colonized every habitable space in the world, but one thing is for sure, they will wonder how a species that has flourished so long disappeared so quickly.
