Self-destruction of your data with Kali Linux

Did you know that KALI Linux distribution has a pretty cool feature that allows auto-deduct your data?

Since version 1.06, KALI Linux developers have modified the Cryptsetup module that is used to encrypt the hard disk access for users who wish to add an additional security measure: the introduction of a word password "trapped" that will destroy your data if someone taps on your computer.

Imagine that your computer is confiscated by an authority, an abductor or any person wishing to torture you to access your data: D. Las to get you toothpicks under the fingernails, you assign and enter a password. No password that opens your Linux distribution Kali but an alternative password, trapped, that will just destroy your data and prevent your opponent to recover.

How it works?

This does not delete anything because formatting would be too long to be effective. The purpose of the trick will simply delete the header, the file that keeps track of the encrypted access key to the disc contents.

Basically, it's like destroying the lock of a safe unbreakable. Data is always present but inaccessible.

To update your kali Linux distribution:

sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get dist-upgrade

And to download the latest version, it's there.
