The Watch Urbane LTE: The first smartwatch can make and receive calls,and text messages



We talked about the LG Watch Urbane by mid-February, and here we have more official details on wearable technology. The LG Watch Urbane LTE was officially announced, and we know that LG is ready to launch the Mobile World Congress, which will begin in March in Barcelona, Spain.

The LG Watch Urbane LTE is a next-generation wearable shows who will be accompanied by support for NFC, and a few other features that have never been issued on a smart device designed for wrist.

As it is always wise to learn from past mistakes, this fourth smartwatch LG showed how far the South Korean firm is gone. The LG Watch Urbane is the most ambitious model to date, with a 1.3-inch OLED display Plastic that will bring all relevant communication capabilities of a smartphone in the format of a watch in polished metal.




It will work as any other 4G smartphone, to perform and answer calls, send and receive text messages. It also will the operator's support, because the smartwatch offers the ability push-to-talk (PTT) with other devices on the same cellular network, allowing you to use the LG Watch Urbane LTE as a walkie-talkie without having to worry about the range.

The other specifications of the LG Watch Urbane LTE include a 1.2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor 400, LG Wearable Platform as the operating system, 4GB of internal memory, 1GB of RAM, a 700mAh battery, sensors 9 Axes / Barometer / PPG / GPS , Bluetooth 4.0 and Wi-Fi connectivity, resistance to dust and water (IP67), a speaker and a microphone.
