Before its release on June 3, the sci-fi movie Ex Machina shows a new trailer and agonizing with real quotes on artificial intelligence.
After a first trailer released in January (here), the film is Ex Machina remonstrated in another video full of new images before its release on June 3rd. For the record, this is a feature of science fiction dealing with artificial intelligence and its dangers, directed by Alex Garlant which is the first embodiment. Previously, he was the writer of The Beach, 28 Days Later, Sunshine or Dredd.
"With artificial intelligence, we invoke the devil"
Here's the full synopsis: Caleb, 24, is the programmer of one of the largest computer companies in the world. When he wins a contest to spend a week in a secluded mountain belonging to Nathan the solitary CEO of his company, he discovers that he will actually have to participate in a strange and fascinating experiment in which it will interact with the world's first artificial intelligence in the form of a beautiful female robot.
This new trailer is also interspersed with quotes on AI, pronounced on several occasions by the very real personalities. May in particular take Elon Musk (Elon Musk of Tesla warns against artificial intelligence), Stephen Hawking (According to Stephen Hawking, artificial intelligence is a danger to humans) or Bill Gates (Artificial Intelligence: Bill Gates is also very skeptical).
Most would agree that the development of artificial intelligence could be the last action of the human race before its extinction. This pessimistic mindset also fits well with the film that seems particularly dark and scary.
To come back basically to the latter, the main roles will be provided by Domhnall Gleeson (Caleb the employee), Oscar Isaac (Nathan, CEO) and Alicia Vikander (Ava).
