Google Android Wear Will not Find your Phone : 5 Facts you need to know



To find your lost Android device from your wrist, just say “OK, Google. Start. Find my phone,” or select the “Find my phone” option in the Start menu. Your phone will ring at full volume, which will hopefully be enough to hear it and locate it.


1.Not useful if no data connection :

you can`t search you mobile when you lost your mobile without data connection

2.gps/location :

Why does it not activate the gps/location even when location is currently turned off, this is one of the defining features of this app but doesnt even work, nor has it.

3.Now shows notification on lock screen

it now puts a notification on the lock screen whenever a locate request is made against the device. The notification cannot be disabled by the user. Surely it doesn't make sense to put a notification on the lock screen, this just notifies whoever has the device that it is being tracked by the owner.

4.Doesn't seem to work on Lollipop 5.0.2

Doesn't seem to work on Lollipop 5.0.2. Every Android device in my possession I try to locate comes up "Finding" and never locates any of them. While my Xperia Z3 still running KitKat works. 

5.No good for looking out the person that steals the phones

tested the lock out feature and was able to simply bypass the security code. Even set it to device admin and did it twice on my phone
