Mouse Computer launches a Windows key with a integrated fan

Most of us are looking forward to seeing developers to focus on improving the performance of our upcoming gadgets, and if the explosion in the development of smartphones has taught us anything, it is that the miniaturization process technology often leads to incredible progress.

The same can be said for the more traditional PC, with devices like the Raspberry Pi, a pioneer in recent years. But what about a PC all-in-one on a USB stick? Well, that is exactly what the Japanese company Mouse Computer has. And the mini-m Stick computer as a key even has a built-in fan.

Among the myriad of USB devices scattered around your house, we can legitimately doubt they are all equipped with a fan. But, it is quite necessary for m-Stick, which integrates many intensive components resources for such a small device. In other words, it needs something to expel air stored. Mouse Computer hope to compete with products such as the Intel Compute Stick and MeegoPad, alternatives that can be plugged into the HDMI port of a TV or monitor.

Even if the fan is going to make it a little noisier than its competitors, it's probably not a bad idea to extend its longevity. Internally, the m-Stick has a quad-core processor Intel Atom based architecture Z3735F Bay Trail, along with 2GB of DDR3 1333 MHz RAM, and 32GB of eMMC storage. You will have the ability to extend it by a micro-SD port. It comes with a 32-bit copy of Windows 8.1 pre-installed.

In terms of connectivity, the device supports Bluetooth 4.0 and Wi-Fi 802.11b / g / n, and it has a USB 2.0 port, and HDMI-E port. It also has a micro USB port to power the whole.

Scheduled for release in late April, the Mouse Computer m-Stick is set to be priced at 20,800 yen, or about 159 euros.
