Twitter deploys the 'Retweet with Comment'

Twitter has rolled out a new feature dedicated to retweets, allowing users to post comments on other people's tweets without having to shorten the original message. If the above statement is a bit confusing, that's because I tried, but failed, to explain a rather complex characteristic in one sentence.

So, I'll break it down. Twitter allows only 140 characters per message. If someone wanted to retweet a publication of another person while adding his own commentary or opinion about it, he had to shorten the original message as much as possible to make room for his own words.
Or, it could display a link to the original comment, even if it was not an ideal solution.

For Twitter, it was obviously a problem, since the shortening of the original declaration someone might change its overall context, and people were struggling. Indeed, nothing was set up to simplify the publication of a comment on someone's tweet.

140 characters to express

This is why the company began testing a feature of "retweet with comment" last summer, helping to solve this problem without abandoning the limit of 140 characters.
Today, it is pushed to the general public, and it works very simply. The original comment is embedded, and is not even recognized as text, leaving the speaker all 140 characters to say what he or she wants.
The feature is now available on the web version and the iPhone application of Twitter, and will be available on Android application soon.
Some people may have different opinions on this new feature, however, it will certainly be helpful.
