Android M Macadamia Nut Android would be named Cookie internally

Google is expected to announce the next version of its mobile operating system Android at the Google I / O will start tomorrow from the San Francisco side. But as we have already heard rumors that Android M was going to be launched as Android Marshmallow today new information seems to contradict this statement.

Indeed, a recent publication Android Police, Android M Macadamia Nut Android is named Cookie internally at Google. But while the name may seem very complex to talk to the average person, it may not be the name that Google uses when the new version of the OS is released.

With Android KitKat, Google had appointed internally Android Key Lime Pie Android Lollipop and was known as the Android code name Lemon Meringue Pie, so she probably will not use Macadamia Nut Cookie Android for its trade name last version. Moreover, while Google has used both LMP (Lemon Meringue Pie) and KLP (Key Lime Pie) for previous versions of Android, MNC is the string displayed in the source code of ASOP project this year.

Personally, I think that Android Marshmallow is a good bet, and that Google could team up with a candy maker as it has done with KitKat. It could start something like Android M & M or something similar. Highly Thursday to learn more!

But what's new?

What is going to offer this new version? Apparently, Google will put a lot of energy into optimizing the use of the battery, and memory. Specifically, the company will focus on "performance and the clever use of features that could drain your battery" and "reduce the use of RAM and reduce the activity when the camera screen is off ".

According to the same rumors, the final version of Android M should arrive in August 2015. Importantly, application developers will get a preview version just before, to ensure that their applications work correctly.

Obviously, we'll talk Thursday during the opening keynote of the I / O 2015.
