Google launches new service for managing, storing and sharing your photos and videos. The firm appointed Google Photos. If it sounds familiar, that's because it is a true evolution of the part of Google+ Photos. But the big news is that you do not have a Google+ account to use the new service. And, you do not have to pay for it.
Google Images offers unlimited cloud storage for photos up to 16 megapixels and videos with resolutions of up to 1080p.
You will be able to use Google Photos on photos.google.com or download an application from Android or iOS from today.

Take photos or videos on your smartphone, and you'll be able to access it on any device via the web interface. They will be automatically sorted into categories, thanks to image recognition that Google uses. This allows you to search your photos by category browser through the thousands of pictures that you take when you have all the time a camera in your pocket.
Unlimited storage is excellent news, but there is a trap. Google will compress your files. Nevertheless, the company says the results of the compression algorithm are high qualities, meaning that your photos will always be ready to print.
And because the service is not exclusively linked to Google+, it's easy to share photos with Twitter, Facebook or other social networks.
