LG G4 Note: it would have a metal frame

Before the company comes to market with the LG G3 5.5 inches, LG unveiled alongside its flagship smartphones a Phablet. Although technically the G3 screen size makes him a Phablet, it looked like a normal sized smartphone, thanks to the incredible thin edges, and the on / off button repositioned to the rear. Now it seems that LG is working on another Phablet, much more traditional.

Although LG has yet to release the G4 in the coming months, the Korean company may also introduce G4 Note, reports the Korea Herald. At a meeting at Mobile World Congress, the CEO of LG, Juno Cho, apparently stated that LG will launch a device that is more upscale than the G4.

While he gave no further details, it seems that Cho spoke of the new Phablet.

LG will finally sell a metal smartphone?

If Samsung has resisted pressure for years on the fact of producing a plastic smartphone, she relented with glass and metal in the Galaxy S6. HTC brags about it long since the unibody metal on its range One. However, LG has always resisted this trend.
Nevertheless, with his G3, the company partially opened the doors of metal, producing an attractive plastic shell that looked like metal. But as mentioned it a few minutes ago, a publication of ZDNet Korea hinted that LG wants to switch to a metal frame in order to cope with competition.

Of course, the transition metal is not an easy thing for manufacturers who are accustomed to plastic. This is why most think that the G4 will not have this new feature. However, the LG G4 Note could end up with a metal frame.

A 3K screen and other impressive specs

According to sources in the Korea Herald, the G4 Note will have a 5.5 inch screen with a resolution 3K - a relatively empty term sense, but which could correspond to a resolution of 2880 x 1620 pixels. In other words, the pixel density is 600 ppi, which is even higher than the Galaxy Samsung S6, and density of 577 ppi. The device is said to have a curved shape, much like the range of G Flex smartphones.
A front camera of 5 megapixels should be embedded on the front of the Phablet, while a 16-megapixel camera is mounted on the back cover.

The main difference between this and specifications Phablet we heard G4 seems to affect the resolution of the screen. It is not known if the G4 Note will be launched alongside the G4, or shortly after, but I'll let you know as soon as more information becomes available.
