Mercedes-Benz CLA Shooting Brake: CLS little brother

After a CLA looks like a CLS reduction, it was logical to see this four-door coupe decline in break like its big brother.

In the arms race that pits three high-end German manufacturers, finding a unique niche like a challenge. Mercedes-Benz also can it be lucky to have drawn a compact station wagon before his friends. Better still, this break is derived from a "four-door coupe" compact, unpublished at Audi and BMW. So a pretty pawn, although this new variant is anything but a surprise.

After the success of the CLS and its derivative Shooting Brake, it was logical that Mercedes-Benz wants to replicate his success at the lower levels. Consequently, the CLA is also available in the break streamline, offering 497-liter boot and a guard at roof top 4 cm to that of the model which it derives. Of course, everything else is taken and CLA-Class which it derives.

Under the hood, there is the usual range of four-cylinder. In the entry level, there is the 1.6 petrol available in two power levels (122 hp, 156 hp and 180 CLA, CLA 200), headed by the 2.0 211 hp (CLA 250) proposed in tension or AWD. At the top of the range, the CLA 45 AMG asserts its sporty 360 hp. Finally, Diesel, the four-cylinder OM351 remains faithful to the post in two versions: 136 hp (CLA 200 CDI) and 177 hp (CLA 220 CDI). With this new variant, Mercedes-Benz hopes to extend its successful compact range, already sold 900,000 copies, 100,000 of CLA.
