Google Glass 2: a larger screen, faster processor

Google Glass, which you know as the glasses connected the search giant does not really have taken off as a necessary device for consumers. Google introduced its new portable device it a few years ago, and has charged 1500 dollars for people being able to get your hands on a beta version of the device. But the firm abandoned the Explorer program for early adopters earlier this year.

However, the Google Glass project is not dead, Google has just paused, certainly to come back strong, with a very attractive product. According 9to5Google, the next version of Google Glass is about to emerge. This would be an "Enterprise Edition" device, that is to say, exclusively for professionals.

As mentioned earlier, Google Glass failed to pack consumers. People have reacted strangely when seeing people wearing glasses with a screen and a camera which set the captured and potentially their actions. But the product has found some success in certain professional circles, where it allows users to get information into your hands free while performing surgical operations, or other activities where a screen is not viable.

So Google seems to focus on the development of a new device for professionals. But, people who hope that the technology reaches the consumers nose could be reassured to know that Google is working to correct some shortcomings of Glass initially sold.

The sources said that in 9to5Google glasses Enterprise Edition will replace the aging TI OMAP processor with Intel Atom chip that should provide better performance and significantly improve the autonomy of Glass. The new model would also have a screen, or rather a prism, wider, facilitating information display. Thus, it should avoid lifting eyes for information.
