iPad Pro: it might be launched in 2016

The iPad Pro has often been mentioned as a new version of the famous Apple tablet, and has been the subject of many rumors. While we waited a tablet launched during the year, it will apparently wait still longer ...

Formerly expected by the end of 2015, the release date of the iPad Pro could possibly be offset in 2016.

ETNews sources have recently been in talks with many major display manufacturers, including LG Display, Japan Display and Samsung Display. The reason? The use of a AgNW layer (silver nano wire / silver particles to fibers) for its touch screens to replace old displays based on indium tin oxide (ITO English ).

Sources also said that the iPad Pro will be released "next year", since it will wait for the suppliers of the Cupertino have enough time to produce mass AgNW screens. Currently, they provide samples of such a screen for large format tablet.

A coating of silver particles to fibers is much more flexible and would be perfect for adding technology Force Touch, which debuted on the Apple Watch, and the new MacBook, at a more affordable price for mass production. By eliminating touchscreens based on an ITO coating, Apple could save indium required to produce the screens.

The Force Touch technology is rumored to join the fleet next iPhone in addition to iPad Pro.

The iPad Pro could also highlight sapphire glass screens, which could increase the price of equipment and offset the money saved by using AgNW. Originally planned for the iPhone 6 or iPhone 6 Plus, ultra-resistant screens could finally make their appearance on the Apple Watch, with the Force Touch technology.
