Apple Watch: reports suggest that it is a failure

Although some may refute such an idea, Apple is usually synonymous with success. But those days could be over, especially if one believes a Palo Alto Research company, which says sales of Apple Watch are really disastrous.

Using receipts 2.5 million buyers in the US, the Slice Intelligence analysis company tweeted a chart estimating that the number of sales of Apple Watch has dropped to less than 5,000 units per day. A striking comparison is to highlight face 30-35 000 units sold per day in the weeks after launch.

When Recode conference last May, the Senior Vice President of Operations at Apple, Jeff Williams, responsible for "grease the machine" in Cupertino, Apple said that the Watch was selling "a lot but not enough." Slice data Intelligence comparison of the sales when Williams said this, showing that Apple sold an average of about seven times Apple Watch that in the past.

This is only a speculation

Apple has not publicly commented on the sales of its Apple Watch, and if these statistics are only approximate, they may not be accurate. Nevertheless, Slice Intelligence says the company data are correlated with the Amazon sales figures and the US Department of Commerce. In other words, this makes it a source with some credibility.

There is a chance that the company's sales figures for its Apple Watch on publication of Q3 results later this month, but the company could also group the numbers with "other" of products company.

Anyway, it seems that the "short" article by TechCrunch after two months of use sums it up:
